Who uses NATOM Anatomy Software
To meet the patients’ needs for information
Nowadays, more than ever, patients want to take charge
of their health. One of the aspects of this process
is to have access to clear and understandable information.
Thus, the difficult task of informing and explaining
remains with the practitioner. After a visit, we have
often heard people we know trying to recall an obscure
name, or complicated explanations. For example, the
anxiety of a patient waiting for an operation can be
slightly alleviated by quality pre-operation information:
the patient needs to know the pathology of his illness
and/or the intervention to undergo. The attending physician
must ensure the correct understanding of the information;
therefore, the information supported by interactive
visuals is important. Don’t we say, “A picture
is worth a thousand words.”? What’s better
than a quality illustration, with comments and arrows,
which is quickly shown on the screen, without complications
in a pleasant environment. That’s what Natom allows
you to do … among other things.
Natom meets the physicians’ needs
"Natom also permits you to save your images and
send them by e mail (JPEG format), and to also print
them. The software interfaces with the medical offices
management software. By interfacing with the medical
offices software, it is also possible for the physician
to link the images to the patients’ files."

Besides being a source of information for the patient,
the software is also a working tool for the practitioner
who creates and saves his own patients database, thereby
storing a computer trail that is easily accessible and
enhanced with patients’ images.
Offering a source of medical information for
everyone
Natom can also be used as a training tool to provide
illustrations in courses and to review knowledge of
anatomy, as a support in the practice of a sport, or
simply as an aid in the discovery of the human body
and its pathologies.
